Genevieve Mar is an award-winning financial professional with global experience. Since beginning her career as a banker with the Hong Kong Bank of Canada, Genevieve Mar has provided financial services to organizations and individual clients in Taiwan, Japan, Spain, and Italy, among other international locations.

Since 1995, she has worked as an advisor and insurance representative at M-G Financial in Northbrook, Illinois. During her career, Genevieve Mar has garnered accolades such as the Woodbury Financial Services Platinum Eagle Award and multiple ING Awards.

When she is not providing financial planning services to families and small business owners, from structured retirement planning to inflation-focused investing, Genevieve Mar is an active philanthropist. She serves on the North Suburban Evangelical Free Church Financial Steering Committee and has supported organizations such as Project Share and Children’s Relief International.

Academically, Genevieve Mar earned a biochemistry degree from the University of British Columbia and a master of business administration from Simon Fraser University. She also holds Series 6, 63, 65, and 7 insurance licenses in more than 13 states. Her personal interests include travel and fine dining.
